Hiring without fraud: CLT, PJ and
NEW FORMS OF WORK

Employment models, legal security, and solutions to address the shortage of professionals.

October 15, 2026 | In-person

A breakfast meeting to discuss how companies can choose and structure their hiring models more securely, considering the differences between CLT (Brazilian labor law), service provision through a legal entity, outsourcing, platforms, and on-demand work.

The meeting will also address the shortage of professionals and its effects on operations, bringing together legal perspectives and business experiences on attracting, compensating, developing, and retaining talent.

NEW FORMS OF HIRING: HOW TO HIRE IN THE FACE OF CHANGES IN THE WORKPLACE

And what about the lack of professionals?

Companies need to deal with two issues simultaneously. On one hand, different hiring models are gaining ground in operations. On the other hand, many sectors are finding it difficult to attract, train, and retain the people needed for the business.

CLT (Brazilian labor law), service provision by a legal entity, outsourcing, temporary work, platforms, Employer of Record, internships, and apprenticeships all meet different needs. The choice depends on the activity performed, how the work will be organized, and the degree of autonomy expected in the relationship.

It also requires attention to the labor, civil, and tax implications of each structure. An inadequate hiring process can lead to recognition of an employment relationship, liability to third parties, tax contingencies, and disputes regarding confidentiality, intellectual property, or competition.

Therefore, the decision should not be limited to comparing CLT (formal employment contract) and PJ (self-employed/contractor) or the immediate cost of each alternative. The company needs to identify the model compatible with the reality of the operation, define responsibilities, and adopt contracts and controls consistent with the relationship that will actually exist.

At the same time, even companies that have already defined their hiring models face another problem: a lack of available or qualified professionals for certain roles. This shortage affects costs, productivity, deadlines, and growth capacity.

Mundie Advogados and Remunerar are hosting this meeting to connect these two discussions.

Legal experts and executives with experience in human resources management will analyze how companies can hire more safely and what solutions are being adopted to address the shortage of professionals.

The meeting will bring together technical analysis, business experiences, and questions from participants.

SCHEDULE

What are we going to discuss?

Professionals with experience in labor law, business contracts, taxation, and human resources management will discuss the criteria that should guide the selection and structuring of hiring models.

The conversation will combine legal and business perspectives to address decisions that are already part of the routine for HR, legal, compliance, finance, and operations departments.
