A breakfast meeting to discuss the main impacts of the Tax Reform starting in 2027 and what companies need to anticipate regarding prices, margins, costs, cash flow, customers, and suppliers.
The meeting will also address how to transform the new rules into economic and financial scenarios capable of guiding projections, strategic planning, company valuation, and M&A operations.
TAX REFORM IN 2027:
What companies need to anticipate right now.
In 2027, the implementation of the CBS will begin a new phase of the Consumption Tax Reform. The transition will continue with the IBS from 2029 and will advance until 2033, when the full adoption of the new system is planned.
However, the effects will not be limited to the tax area. Companies will need to assess how the new rules may impact pricing, credit utilization, cost structure, margins, and cash flow. Relationships with customers and suppliers may also require review.
Knowing the legislation will only be the starting point. The challenge will be in translating the changes into numbers and understanding, based on each company's operation, where the main impacts and opportunities will lie.
Will maintaining current prices allow for the preservation of margins? Which products, customers, suppliers, and inputs will be most exposed? How might the transition affect tax costs, EBITDA, and the financial projections used in business decisions?
To discuss these issues, Mundie Advogados and DynaVolt Advisors are hosting a breakfast focused on analyzing the legal and economic-financial effects of the Tax Reform.
The meeting will address the construction of scenarios for 2027, 2029, and 2033 based on fiscal, accounting, and operational data. The aim is to show how comparing current rules with each stage of the transition can help companies identify impacts on their operations and revise assumptions relevant to their planning.
The discussion will also cover the use of these analyses in commercial and supply strategies, company valuation, and the preparation of M&A transactions.
With presentations and discussions, the meeting will provide a space for exchanging experiences on decisions that companies will need to make throughout the transition and on the expected effects in different sectors and business models.
